Transport Reps Needed!
Pierce County is one of the densest in our state with a number of bottlenecks and shortfalls in transportation management. Join our group to relieve these pressures and build our network of interdependence with our neighbors. Help us soft-launch our transport representative service to:
- Increase inter-city carpool access
- Give free** support to neighbors in need
- Ease transport mobility
- Reduce congestion
- Reduce local carbon emissions, AND
- Build community through routine availability
We want our transport representatives to honor their communities through outreach to meet majority consensus needs. Helping start city chapters of our coalition, building on strategies to embrace community development and safety, and developing a rotational leadership system to circulate demographic and needs-based representation. This starts (SIMPLY) with aligning your schedule to best suit your needs with others: sharing your regular weekend commute with someone who happens to have your schedule. If your time allows, it will also involve sharing strategies with our entire coalition, or sharing responsibility presenting to city government and transport authorities.
